What is AILA Santa Clara Valley?
The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) is a national association of immigration lawyers established to
promote justice, advocate for fair and reasonable immigration law and policy, advance the quality of immigration and
nationality law and practice, and enhance the professional development of its members.

AILA Santa Clara Valley (SCV) was established in 1998 and encompasses the counties of Santa Clara, Santa Cruz,
Monterey, and San Benito, in California.

Randall Caudle's Involvement

AILA Santa Clara Valley Chapter President/Chair 2002-2003 and 2008-2009,
- create positive relationships with all government agencies related to immigration law. the San Jose USCIS office, the
San Francisco USCISs office, immigration courts & judges, ICE (Immigration & Customs Enforcement) USCIS Asylum
office, San Francisco, Oakland, and San Jose airport CBP (Customs & Border Protection), set up and facilitate
educational for chapter attorneys & general public, work with congressional representatives to help introduce positive
immigration legislation.

Randall Caudle is the current media liaison (since 2001) on the AILA SCV committee:
- getting cutting edge immigration info to reporters & facilitate flow of info to reporters from other immigration
attorneys. field reporter phone calls, & give other information for other sources.

AILA Santa Clara Valley Chapter Liaison to San Jose INS (USCIS), 2001-2002
- solve issues & liaison meetings.
